Georgian Bay is one of the most beautiful areas in Ontario.. We hope you will come visit us and see what Georgian Bay has to offer.

If you are one of many anglers that believe big water equals big fish, then Georgian Bay should be the place to catch the next world record.

Georgian Bay which is situated in the northeastern portion of Lake Huron has all the necessary ingredients to produce giant musky, big pike and huge smallmouth bass. Georgian Bay is so big it's practically a great lake in itself. This massive Fishing on Georgian Baywatershed dilutes angling hours with many areas experiencing little or no fishing pressure all year. The Bay has other big fish pluses with record walleye, tiger musky, giant pike, huge and plentiful bass, gar pike, strugeon, trout and salmon giving anglers opportunities to catch multiple species all within the same general area.   There are hundreds of miles of bait filled waters to search for these giant fish. Georgian Bay showed that it produces fast-growing musky, with the average 48-inch musky (28 pounds), being only 7 to 11 years old! Georgian Bay has already yielded plenty of big fish, with many over 50lbs including some over 60lbs which includes Canada's biggest musky, a verified 65-pound I.G.F.A. world record caught out of the Moon river area topping the list. This record musky measured 58" long with an amazing 30.5" girth and was estimated to be about 29 years old.

Although just about all of Georgian Bay and its connecting waters harbor huge muskies I prefer to concentrate my efforts between the French River outlet and Honey Harbor. I spend a lot of my time fishing and guiding the famous Moon River area of Georgian Bay but catch many of the biggest musky further out in the bay.

The Moon River is one of the most elite musky fishing areas in the world and is where the Canadain Record was landed! Georgian Bay has world record potential and has not only produced the 65lb Canadian record, the long time Ontario record Walleye but many other line class records for muskies in the 50lb to 60lb sizes.

Georgian Bay is a structure fisherman's paradise with countless miles of excellent musky, pike, walleye and bass habitat. Prime areas include the thousands of islands, bays, points, saddles, reefs and shorelines. The water is crystal clear with visibility as much as 30 feet in some areas. Although the winds can be very strong at times you can always find shelter behind islands, in back bays and in the upper parts of some rivers. A good portion of the Moon River has not been charted and because most of the Moon River is surrounded by the Massassaga Provincial Park land it is the most heavily fished area for musky.

The Georgian Bay strain of musky are much bigger and thicker than most inland lake muskies. Double digit catches on Georgian Bay are extremely rare but we have had many days with follows from over 30 fish in a day with the average size in the 45 inch to 49 inch range and have had multiple 50" + musky in the boat per day. We've even had days when we've landed as many as 9 big musky. While fishing for Musky it's not unheard of to catch 20 or more pike a day up to 20lbs+ or even a few walleye and giant bass. It's actually rare to catch musky under 40 pounds and fish over 50 inches are far more common then fish under 40". The legal size to keep a Musky on Georgian Bay and Moon River is 54.1" To see map of Georgian Bay as well as more history and information on Georgian Bay and the moon river check here: www.whitesquall.com

PLEASE NOTE: In order to safeguard our fisheries for future generations, I insist on 100% catch and release for all Musky. Incidentally caught pike, walleye, bass, trout and salmon may be kept if in-season and at the sole discretion of the angler and we can help you get a replica of your catch if you need it! ALL MUSKIES MUST BE RELEASED!
