Georgian Bay Musky Charters provides:
The Boat:
We will fish out of a fully equipped 20'2 foot 2008 Lund boat, with a 2008, 200hp Mercury outboard and a 9.9hp Yamaha kicker motor. This boat is fully equipped and also has a full canopy that could be used on poor weather days to provide maximum comfort. Tackle:I do provide the rods, reels, and lures as part of your trip, but I recommend you bring your own rod and reel because people tend to feel more comfortable with their own equipment, thus fish harder and concentrate better. If you do bring your own equipment, please ensure your reels are equipped with a good quality line over 60lbs. The recommended line for the area is 80lb to 100lb Power Pro, Tuff line or similar braided line. Trolling or casting: We specialize in casting but for best success we may decide on 50% trolling and 50% casting depending on the conditions of the day. Full trolling days are available and so are full casting days. We can cater to your style and preference of fishing. Trophy Musky Replicas and Posters:We are 100% catch and release for all musky and proud of it. However in the case that you do catch that giant fish of a lifetime we can provide accurate measurements, lots of digital pictures in both regular print size or in poster size and can assist you in getting the best fish replicas mounts in Canada and in the USA.What To Bring: For full day trips, a small cooler with food / snacks beverages (non alcoholic only). We have personal flotation devices, but bring your own if you prefer. Suitable clothing: Warm clothing is a must for Georgian Bay. Wear layers and adjust as the temperature changes. A good pair of waterproof boots or shoes is a good idea too. Cold wet feet can spoil an otherwise great Musky adventure. Rain gear is also a must even if the forecast isn’t calling for rain. Sun block. Polarized sunglasses and a fishing cap will help you spot those big muskies following your bait. Bug Spray. Camera or/and Video Recorder A valid Ontario fishing license, (resident or non-resident as applicable) licenses available at the local Marina Rubber-soled non-slip shoes are HIGHLY recommended! A sense of humor, patience, love of the water, an open mind and willingness to learn. Contact me: 416-937-4911or graham@ontariomusky.com
